MASON / TERMS

Terms of Service

The terms for using Mason to host and manage email for your domains.

Last updated October 2, 2026

1. Who we are

Mason is operated by The Red Collar Company, based in Pennsylvania, United States. These terms apply to the Mason website, email service, and connected agent tools. You can contact us at mason@redcollar.io.

By creating an account or using Mason, you agree to these terms. If you use Mason for a business or another organization, you must have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Your account and domains

You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate account information, and verify your email address. Keep your password, API credentials, and agent connections secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

Only connect domains and mailboxes you own or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for your domain registration and renewals, the DNS changes you approve, and the team members and agents you allow to access your inboxes.

3. Your email and content

You retain ownership of your domains, messages, contacts, signatures, and other content. You give us permission to store, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to provide Mason, carry out your instructions, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.

You are responsible for the content you send and for having the permissions required to use it. Keep copies of information you need independently of Mason.

4. Subscriptions and cancellation

Mason Pro costs $5 USD per month, with applicable tax included in that price. Your subscription renews monthly unless you cancel. Stripe handles payment collection and subscription management.

Cancel through Account settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and paid access continues until then. Once your subscription ends, sending email and creating new domains or mailboxes require an active subscription; existing mail remains readable.

If a payment fails, we may limit paid features after the payment grace period. Contact us about billing errors or refund requests. Any refund rights required by applicable law remain unaffected. If we change the subscription price, we will notify you before the new price applies to your renewal.

5. Plan limits and acceptable use

Mason Pro includes up to five domains and five private mailboxes per domain, with team members included. The account shares 5,000 outbound recipient deliveries per calendar month. Each recipient counts separately, including recipients in copied fields. Protective rate and storage limits also apply.

Mason is intended for ordinary project and business correspondence. Do not use it for:

  • Unsolicited bulk email, spam, phishing, malware, fraud, or deceptive impersonation.
  • Accessing another person's data or domains without authorization.
  • Harassment, unlawful content, or infringement of another person's rights.
  • Evading sending limits, account restrictions, security controls, or permission boundaries.
  • Automation that abuses the service or harms other users or mail delivery.

6. Teams, agents, and integrations

You choose which inboxes and actions a team member, agent, or integration can access. An authorized agent can act on your behalf within those permissions, including sending messages. Review permissions and revoke connections you no longer need.

Third-party agent apps, DNS registrars, and other integrations have their own terms and privacy practices. A Mason subscription does not include a third-party AI or agent subscription. Revoking a connection stops future access through Mason; it cannot remove copies already held by the third party.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains the information we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you. It applies alongside these terms. Contact us if you need help accessing, correcting, exporting, or deleting account information.

Read the Privacy Policy

8. Availability and support

We work to keep Mason available and to resolve service problems. Maintenance, outages, security issues, and third-party systems can affect access or delivery. Email delivery also depends on recipient systems and their spam controls. We do not promise uninterrupted service or that every message will reach an inbox.

Contact us for support. If a problem requires access to account information, we limit that access to what is needed to investigate or resolve it.

9. Suspension and closing an account

We may restrict or suspend access to address abuse, unpaid subscriptions, legal requirements, security risks, or harm to the service or other users. Where practical, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve it. Urgent security or abuse issues may require immediate action.

To close your account or request deletion, contact us. Canceling a subscription alone does not delete your account or mail. Information needed for legal, billing, dispute, or security purposes may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Mason is provided as available, without additional implied warranties. To the same extent, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, and The Red Collar Company's total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid for Mason in the twelve months before the claim.

These limits do not exclude liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any liability or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

11. Governing law and updates

These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania and applicable United States federal law, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. Rights you have under mandatory consumer or privacy laws remain unaffected.

We may update these terms as Mason changes. We will publish the updated terms with a new date and provide notice of material changes where appropriate. Contact us if you have questions about a change.
